This week, John stopped by the grand opening of the Salem GOP Headquarters. Addressing an enthusiastic group of local republicans, John discussed the upcoming election and his balanced approach to our energy crisis, which includes a focus on renewable energy and conservation in addition to more domestic drilling.
He also talked about the stark contrast between the democrats running in 2008 who want higher taxes and more government mandates and republicans who favor limited government and low taxes. Following his remarks, John joined Salem Republican committee chairmen Jeff Hatch to cut the ceremonial ribbon and open the office for the election season.
